For my 6th project, I am going to to a finger. I'm drawing my hand and them for the up close part, I am using ink and putting my fingerprints all over it.
For my fourth project, I'm going to do a butterfly in watercolor and the inset image is going to be up close in Acrylic. What I really like about butterflies is that they're so simple yet they have so much too them. If you look at them up close they're really cool and have plenty of detail.
For my third project, I've decided that I'm going to do a lotus flower. I'm using watercolor for this one on watercolor paper. And then for my zoomed in inset images i'm going to use Acrylic.
For my 2nd project I want to work with a leaf, I want the background to be zoomed out and then my inset images to be spots zoomed in, almost like a bio book image where they're trying to show you the sells but with a leaf really up close. I wanna be able to show the little details that some people would miss when looking at a leaf. The background I'll make in watercolor and then the inset images in graphite. I'll be using watercolor paper graphite, watercolor and watercolor pencil. So far it's almost completely done, but I wanted to add one more inset image of an up close in watercolor but I'm taking a break from it and moving on to the next then coming back to it.
For my first project I am going to make the background zoomed in on a feather and then have inset images on top of it zoomed out so you can actually see what it is. The background I'm going to draw with graphite and then the inset images I'll section off and paint it with water color to make pop out a little bit. I'll be using watercolor paper, paints, and pencils to help me get the fine details in. So I took a completely different turn with how I was planning this one, again it's not completely finish. I'm moving onto the next one and then doing the finishing touches with it later. The left and right sides I used really watered down Acrylic and and plastic wrap to get the feeling and texture of a feather up close. The center is the actual feather.
For my Social Commentary project I wanted to show how Republicans and democrats are literally ripping society apart. So What I was thinking is drawing the world with a crack in it and the having a republican on once side and a democrat on the other side each holding one side tearing it apart.
For my metamorphosis project I wanna do something with a rose and a dancer and kind of have the rose blooming and then growing into the dancer. I think for this project i'm going to draw it, but use different colors to make it pop.
